Operating Principle:
Eurovacuum’s Dry Running Scroll Vacuum Pumps operates according to the Scroll principal. The pump consists of two interleaved spirals to form the scroll. One of the scrolls is fixed, while the other orbits eccentrically without rotating, therefore trapping and pumping or compressing pockets of gas between the scrolls. Their lack of valves, seals and glands make them comperatively inexpensive to maintain, and the possibility od self-service makes for a relative low-cost maintenance item compared to other pump types.
